Arthur Wong

Arthur Wong has been in the building industry since 1976. He has come from a humble family who value education, hard work and enterprise.

Being trained in the USA and then receiving a Masters scholarship to Victoria University in Wellington, Arthur practised as an architect at the Wanganui Education Board and later as a public policy analyst in Wellington. He has helped develop New Zealand building codes for early education and aged care sectors, participated in inter-governmental representations on housing and until recently was a restaurateur at Kopio of Parnell.

Working as an architect he has designed houses, apartments, office buildings, retail complexes, hospitals, rest homes, hotels/motels, markets, fire stations, industrial buildings and sports facilities. His experience in this allows him to share home improvement ideas that can maximise the potential of a property. There is no obligation to exchange these ideas with Arthur; he just enjoys chatting and giving free property appraisals.

Arthur enjoys voluntary work to help local communities. In Wanganui he was involved in the Chamber of Commerce and overseas he has been involved in the Lafayette Planetarium Museum and housekeeping at a Malaysia.
